I bring both professional training and lived experience to this work. I grew up a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and left the church as an adult. I'm here to help any member of the LDS community regardless of your faith journey. Whether you're ex-mormon, post-mormon, an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints or just trying to figure out where your faith journey is leading you, I respectfully honor all of my clients beliefs. I meet every client wherever they are at. I'm not here to lead you away from your faith, but to help you thrive and follow your own unique path through secular, person-centered and trauma informed therapy.
My own journey includes navigating a faith transition, leaving the church in my 30s as a mother and wife and continuing my own process of deconstruction. I know what it feels like to question everything you once believed and to watch your sense of self shift in big and small ways. I know how scary it can feel to struggle to describe what you're experiencing. And as a therapist who used to be "all in" the church you won't have to spend time explaining culture or doctrines, instead we can focus on the impact it's made in your life and your own healing journey.
